Student Mission Statement

The mission of the Executive Committee of the University Honors Program is to continue fostering an academic and social environment to promote the standards of the UHP.  To this end, we will represent the views of the students in order to further communication with faculty.  In order to best serve the Honors community, we will attend the executive board meetings and attempt to broaden and diversify the spectrum of Honors classes by reviewing and creating course proposals.  To facilitate this process, we will recruit professors to teach new Honors courses. Furthermore, conducting a survey of students' views relevant to the academic community will allow us to analyze students' interests in developing the University Honors Program.
