UHP Peer Mentor: Stuart Le

Hi, my name is Stuart Le, and this will be my last year at UCR as an undergraduate Biology major! ::cheers:: I hail from the northern California. I was born and raised in the heart of San Francisco. My interests are hanging out with friends, meeting new and interesting people, video games, and my lovely classes. I hope to have a career in academic medicine, with an M.D./Ph.D. If you see me around, be sure to say hello! Also, if you have any good stories… a distraction is always welcome :-D.

Looking for Community Service?

I really have to say, do something you enjoy doing. I really encourage staying with the same community service activity for a long time, for that is the best scenario for when you apply to graduate school. Consistency is the key, and if you are constantly doing something you do not enjoy, you will not be a happy camper. For me, working with the MESA Schools Program was something I found I could enjoy and stick with.
