UHP Peer Mentor: Srikanth Krishnan

Hi! My name is Srikanth Krishnan and I am a fourth year Biology major. I'm from the small town of Loma Linda, where I have lived most of my life.

In freshman year, I wanted to be a Mathematics major, then in my second year I was going to switch to Anthropology, and this summer I was thinking about sociology! That's what I love about this school: you're never pinned down to one option. I chose biology as my concentration because of the options it gives me after graduation. Right now, I plan to graduate with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Art.

I work at the Learning Center teaching different study groups. Also, I am involved with the CCE program at Riverside Community Hospital, which is a great program for anyone interested in patient care/clinical experience.

Let's talk music! I love just about every style. The Mad Platter in the UV is one of the best record stores I've been to in the area. Sounds Like... across from the Tyler Mall is also a great record store.

You can reach me at skris002@student.ucr.edu
