UHP Peer Mentor: Scott Crossfield

Hello, my name is Scott Crossfield.  I am a third year Business Administration major at UCR. I am from Clovis High School in Clovis, California, in the good old Central Valley. Clovis is right next to Fresno, and it’s about a three hour drive from my home to numerous national parks, national forests, mountains, and the beach. I prefer the heat over the cold... good thing I’m in Riverside.  I have a lot of school pride, for high school and for UCR.

I currently play ultimate frisbee with the Riverside Ultimate group, and I play badminton occasionally as well. I can play almost any sport decently, except baseball.  I play French Horn in the UCR concert band.  It’s a small band, but it still makes good music.

As of now, I hope to complete my major within four years. Currently, I want to go into advertising after college. There are just so many bad television commercials out there, it makes me cry. Well, not really, but, you get the picture. I hope to change that, and make the commercial break something to rival the regular shows.
