UHP Peer Mentor: Meina Michael

How’s it going everyone?! Well as you all should know, my name is Meina Michael and I am a second year Biology major. After college, I plan on going to medical school and starting my career as a physician (not sure in what specialty, though). Anyways, aside from the academic stuff, let me just tell you a little about myself. I am from a wonderful city called Rancho Cucamonga where I continue to live and commute from (hopefully not for the rest of my life). For any of you commuters out there who would like to vent over the traffic on the 60 freeway, hit me up. I was born August 7th, 1988, in the city of Aurora, Colorado and moved to California two months later. In my free time, I pretty much enjoy chillin’ with my friends and relaxing. Unfortunately I am very untalented in the arts and have always wanted to play piano so if anybody would like to give me lessons, let me know. I would consider myself skilled at eating but that’s not much of an accomplishment. I enjoy playing basketball, swimming, and think the best times are spent with friends and family. About 3 years ago I was introduced to sushi which I fell in love with. Besides all that good stuff, I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and when you see me around campus don’t be afraid to holler.
