UHP Peer Mentor: Mary Silva
Hola! I’m Mary. :o) I am a third-year double-majoring in Film & Visual
Culture and Anthropology. I enjoy traveling, dancing, reading, crafts and
anything to do with food--cooking it, decorating it, presenting it, and of
course eating it! I have really grown to appreciate UCR in the last two years,
and I hope that I can help others see how great it really is here. If I had to
give one piece of advice, it would be to get involved, really make your college
experience a great one. Take advantage of every opportunity, make the best of
it, and I’m sure you’ll go far. In addition to being a Peer Mentor, I am an RA
for the Honors Hall in A-I...so, I’m around. Anyhoo, if you ever need anything,
I love meeting new people so feel free to leave a note in my box or come up and
talk to me. Good luck with your first year, and don’t be afraid to ask for help!
