UHP Peer Mentor: Erin Dimbleby

Hey everyone!!! I’m Erin Dimbleby. This is my second year at UCR, and I’m majoring in Anthropology as well as contemplating a minor or double major in Religious Studies. I’m originally from Upland, only twenty minutes away without traffic; so I traveled very far to go off to college.

Lets see. I love the beach, hanging out with friends, traveling, and sarcasm. Laughing is an awesome pastime for me and makes me very happy. To me, as long as you can laugh you can be happy in any circumstance. I just recently started working at Starbucks which I love, especially since it’s helped increase my fondness of coffee.

In the future I’m planning on getting my PhD in Anthropology, but after that the picture gets a little fuzzy. But even so, I know that there is a perfect job out there for me that will present itself when the time is right. So my little piece of encouragement would be to not worry too much if you don’t know what job you want to have in the future; by simply focusing on something that you have a passion for they’ll always be something for you to do.
