UHP Peer Mentor: Brian Filadelfia

Hello Everyone! My name is Brian Filadelfia, and I am so excited to be a peer mentor this upcoming year! I am a second year biochemistry—medical science emphasis—major. My main goal is to become a pediatric oncologist. I guess there are a few things you should know about me. I am huge optimist—pretty much, I think everything is going to be AMAZING—I love talking to people, I love the water, I want to travel the world, I love plays, musicals, music, and, occasionally, I’ve been told that I am loud, but I am not really sure if that’s true. Also, I am firm believer in the fact that if you think you can do something, then you can do it—see, I told you I was optimistic. Well, I could keep talking about myself forever, which can be viewed as a problem, but look on the bright side: there will never be an awkward moment silence around me!!! Anyways, I would love to get to know you all, and if you see me, then don’t be afraid to say hi (I really do love that!). If you have any questions for me about anything, which includes, but is not limited to, honors and me, JUST ASK! Feel free to contact me at bfila001@ucr.edu.
