UHP Peer Mentor: Bonnie Ferrara

Hello! My name is Bonnie Ferrara and I am a second year Biochemistry major. Just like everybody else I've ever met with a science major, my ultimate goal is to go to medical school. If this too is your goal, what a coincidence. I am willing to help anybody who needs help, and this is not limited to medical school wannabe's such as myself. On a more personal note, I love to dance. I am a ballroom dance fanatic and I hold classes for those who are interested. I grew up in Northern California where I spent several years of my life as the only girl in our whole baseball league. Oh yeah, I was that good, but I digress. I am a fun-loving person and you can ask anybody about that. I'm sure there are some stories they'd love to share. Whenever someone wants to talk, I'm always there to listen, so please, don't be shy. My email address is bferr002@student.ucr.edu and just drop me a line whenever you feel like it. I love meeting new people, so please, let me meet new people.

Looking for Community Service?

I am now part of a new club called Humanitarian's Aid. It's a club that helps spruce up places that provide aid for those in need, such as soup kitchens and others. For community service, we go to these places and give them a new coat of paint and color so they don't look run down. Just because they serve the underserved, it doesn't mean they have to look crappy. With this opportunity you have the chance to quite literally brighten up someone's day.
