UHP Peer Mentor: Alyssa Crom

Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I'm from San Jose. I love books, hate bigotry, and enjoy long walks on the beach with puppies. I am a biology major in my fourth year of college, and intend to go to pharmacy school after graduation. After all, pill-pushers can get better hours than surgeons!

I consider myself fairly out of the closet, and I identify as bisexual.

I enjoy doing drag as a form of gender-play and participating in LGBT events and panels on campus. I encourage you all to attend events like Drag Ball or the Underground Dance Party, since it will rock your world!

Looking for Community Service?

I have been involved in Young at Heart since my freshman year, and recommend it to anyone who needs community service hours, likes Bingo, or just wants to meet people! Young at Heart is a community service club which meets on Saturdays in Lot 24 at 12:45 PM and provides transportation to local rest homes. It's basically 2 hours of talking with senior citizens, playing Bingo, and having a good time.
