The Society offers a number of national and district awards.
Sidney Hook Memorial Award recognizes national distinction by a single scholar
in each of three endeavors – scholarship, teaching and leadership in the cause
of liberal arts.
Distinguished Service to the Humanities Award is given annually to individuals
who have made significant contributions in the humanities.
The Romaneii-PKB Professorship is awarded to scholars in the field of
Philosophy.
The Phi Beta Kappa Book Awards are given to outstanding scholarly books
published in the US in humanities, social science, natural sciences and
mathematics.
